A KGIP member since 2024, John Shaffer is the Chief Engineer responsible for overseeing the Nicola Wealth Portfolio properties and supporting the Engineers who perform the care and maintenance for each property.
Prior to joining KGIP, John was Assistant Chief Engineer with Jones Lang and Lasalle on the Amazon Campus. The Director of Engineering at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel and prior to that with the General Services Administration at the Federal Government with responsibility for the U.S. Land Ports of Entry and Border Patrol at the US/Canadian border as well as with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
