Shin Yi joined KGIP in 2008 and is responsible for preparing the monthly draws for the development projects in Washington, Oregon, and California. She also handles the accounting and reporting for the managed portfolio of office, industrial, retail and construction projects. Shin Yi brings years of property management experience in the real estate industry working in both residential and commercial real estate. She is highly skilled in Yardi & MRI software.
Prior to joining KGIP, Shin Yi worked for Colliers International as an Accountant and got promoted to Accounting Manager after 3 months working at the Civica Office Building, a Class A office located in Bellevue.
Prior to Colliers, Shin Yi worked at Trammell Crow Company where she got promoted 3 times within 5 years from a Project Accountant to Senior Accountant, Managing Senior Accountant and Assistant Controller. She was responsible for one of the Trammell Crow Company’s largest accounts with over 110 monthly reporting packages covering over 22 million square feet and 210 buildings. She oversaw/coordinated activities to meet reporting requirements including software/report training and managing a staff of 17 employees.
Shin Yi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an MBA degree from National University San Diego with a major in Finance.
