Nixon joined KGIP in September 2022 and is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the 112th @ 12th property. He works directly with tenants and vendors to complete tenant work orders and schedule repairs. Nixon complements the Engineering Team by maintaining a safe working environment, following safety requirements, coordinating projects and repairs, and ensuring the smooth operation of the building’s mechanical systems. These include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, Fire/Life/Safety, and water treatment equipment.
Nixon relocated from Maryland, where he began his career as a maintenance technician for Beatty Management Group. There Nixon enhanced his skills at the downtown Baltimore Highrise (Exelon/Constellation). Nixon worked at the complex 24-story building and performed various tasks such as maintaining ERUs, ERVs, AHUs, FPTUs, and responsible for chemical treatment. There Nixon showed a passion for the work he did, showing respect toward the tenants, and was widely known among the campus for his attention to detail and excellent work ethic.
