Melanie joined KG Investment Properties in February of 2020. She oversees a portfolio of Class B and Industrial Properties for institutional and private ownerships across the Portland metro area. She is responsible for all aspects of property management, all tenant improvement and capital work within the portfolio. This also includes leasing and contract negotiations, as well as financial reporting, annual budgeting, tenant and vendor relations.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marylhurst University, Melanie’s real estate career started in mid-town Manhattan where she managed several high-rise office buildings. After five years in New York, she returned to Portland, Oregon in 2008 and began overseeing 1.5 million square feet of office assets for the Bill Naito Company, which at the time consisted of 11 buildings in Old Town, the Albers Mill Building, Galleria Building, and Montgomery Park.
Melanie assisted with the disposition of Bill Naito Company’s Old Town portfolio in 2012, the Galleria Building in 2018, and transitioning ownership of Montgomery Park to Unico Properties in 2019.
Melanie is an Oregon state licensed real estate broker. She joined the BOMA Oregon Board of Directors in January of 2016. She is the recipient of the Property Manager of the Year 2018 CAB Award.
