Joseph is a Senior Project Accountant at KGIP and handles the accounting for 18 properties totaling 4,130,303 square feet of our managed portfolio. Joseph began his career in property accounting with TRF, Inc. in 1996. (3rd Party Management of The Rainier Fund). In 1998, Joseph joined Martin Smith Inc. as Portfolio Accountant. In his tenure at Martin Smith, Joseph rose through the ranks of property accountants specializing and maintaining relationships with smaller family owned trusts and working with Martin Smith directly. His portfolio of property was in excess of 1,500,000 square feet. Today, as Senior Project Accountant, his portfolio size has tripled in size and includes Class A & B office, newly developed and established retail, and complex industrial properties in Washington and Oregon with a balance between family owned trust and institutional clients.
Joseph is a highly skilled property accountant and has advanced skills in using accounting software packages including Yardi & MRI. His Excel Recovery Reconciliations are complex workbooks built from scratch serving the needs of accountants, property managers, and asset managers all the way through the actual tenant billing. Joseph has attended Franciscan University of Steubenville and Highline College with an emphasis in accounting and communication.
