Completed in 2016, Bellevue North is the first phase of a 235,000 square foot retail project on both sides of the new NE 4th extension in Bellevue. The property is 100% leased to three of the country’s premier retail tenants – REI, Trader Joe’s and HomeGoods.
KGIP took the project through a complicated condemnation and rezoning process with the City of Bellevue (including a Comprehensive Plan Amendment and a demanding Administrative Design Review). By itself, Bellevue North is one of the most attractive retail real estate investments in the region, but when combined with the future Bellevue South, and the redeveloped Best Buy property, the total 300,000 SF portfolio holdings will be one of the premier “Trophy Retail” real estate investments on the West Coast.
KGIP worked through the challenges of the site geometry to design a highly functional “suburban urban” retail project that has been well received by the tenant market.
