Tyler has been with KGIP since September 2018 and is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the South Puget Sound Industrial portfolio which consists primarily of industrial, warehouse, office, and retail space totaling over 6 million square feet. He works directly with tenants and vendors to complete tenant generated work orders and building inspections, coordinate small projects, oversee special projects as directed by Property Managers, ensure safety guidelines and requirements are met, and provide additional help to other engineers.
Tyler assists the Property Management team with oversight of and quality control of vendor services including but not limited to janitorial, building security, landscape maintenance, mechanical, fire/life/safety, plumbing, roofing, lighting and electrical systems, exterior cleaning, vacant make ready’s and tenant improvement projects.
Prior to joining KGIP, he worked in the multi-family residential maintenance field as a Maintenance Supervisor for his previous company for over 4 years. During his time spent with his previous employer, he had exposure to vendor relations, budget preparation and control, collection and analysis of capital improvement bids, inventory management, preventative maintenance, management of complete interior renovations, completion of work orders, unit turnovers and troubleshooting maintenance issues for multiple different styles of residences and locations on properties that stretched from Olympia, WA to Everett, WA. He worked for private investors as well as local housing authority properties.
